It oozes anime style ridiculousness, which is something that the Mario franchise is sure to benefit from if I do say so myself. Except instead, it’s an Italian plumber dressed like a cat. Mario then goes a little bit super saiyan himself, turning into a Goku looking mega cat that kind of looks like a cross between a gigantamax Pokémon and Super Sonic when he has had one too many Chaos Emeralds. Mario teams up with Bowser Jr (the betrayal is real) to take Bowser down. Bowser actually looks super menacing in his enraged form and I am here for it. It would seem that Bowser has lost his temper somewhat in the aptly named Bowsers Fury expansion, as he is shown turning into a kaiju like monster and breathing a fire beam that Godzilla would be proud of. The 2013 Nintendo Wii U game Super Mario 3D World is coming to the Nintendo Switch very soon- in only a months’ time on February 12 th in fact- and whilst news about the title has been relatively scarce, we finally got a trailer reveal today that not only highlighted gameplay from the Switch version of Super Mario 3D World, but also gave us a glimpse of the expansion Bowser’s Fury.
